Soon we will have those gentle 100+ mph winds, a free sauna just outside of everyone’s door, the soothing roar of generators, and my favorite a free insect collection for all.

I can’t wait to see what my Windstorm insurance rate is this year. I’m just a half mile from the ocean on the west side of the Intercostal waterway so I’m in the state high risk pool which means I get to pay some of the highest rates in the state.

I see that Apple came out with the 17″ MacBook Pro today. Base price is $2,799 which is almost a grand less then what I paid for the almost three year old 17″ Powerbook that I’m using now.
